Goodies Galore for MABS

Lots of goodies were up for grabs in the Christmas hampers and raffles held by local bars and businesses around the Mar Menor at Christmas, and there were some very lucky winners whose Christmases were made more enjoyable with some extra treats.  In spite of the recession, these businesses managed to raise a staggering 1957 € between them, which will go such a long way to helping local people who are affected by cancer in the Murcia/Mar Menor area. MABS Cancer Support Group would like to thank the following for these raffles and for their continuing support throughout 2009:  Novo Carthago and Fuego’s in Los Urrutias, Brambles of Playa Honda.  Fitzers in Los Narejos. Campbell’s of Roda, and Shape & Tone and Celt Bar in Los Alcázares.
